Our Story

We Are Kioi & Co Advocates

The great Chief Kioi continues to be celebrated as a noteworthy advocate for education in his village. He encouraged all parents to take their children to school and ensured that all his children did the same. 

It is in the same spirit that Kioi and Co advocates was formed. We have dedicated years educating companies on the importance of legal compliance and the benefit a good corporate advocate brings to the company.

Since time immemorial, African Kings and Queens sought counsel from their advisors in times of war and peace, during periods of plenty and famine or tragedy. In a fast moving world and now more vulnerable than ever, businesses around the world are walking a tightrope and unless they have proper legal counsel, tough times lie ahead.

Angela Kioi is a Corporate Law Advocate with over 14 years experience. Her practice has been dedicated to providing legal services to businesses. Over the last four years, she has worked almost exclusively with businesses providing critical legal support and advice. Angela is passionate about the nexus between law and business and has worked with organizations to assist them in negotiating complex legal landscapes with confidence and clarity. Angela is a legal compliance expert, negotiator, legal strategist who works tirelessly in the pursuit of excellent results for her clients.

Ashley Mungai

Senior Associate
Ashley Mukami is a versatile Corporate Law & Conveyancing Advocate with over 4 years’ experience. She focuses her practice to dispute resolution, starting businesses up right, perfection of securities, property sale and acquisitions, business compliance, protection of intellectual property, data protection compliance, corporate restructuring and contract preparation & negotiations. She is the Senior Associate Advocate of Kioi & Co. Advocates and heads the Corporate Commercial Department.
